If you want to have fun while learning techniques and developing skills and just plain having fun this is the workshop for you. No large empty canvas to daunt you. No more trying to find the time to complete a work. Working on smaller paintings can recharge your creative batteries and help you move a larger painting along quicker and surer.
Steve will work with you as you discover that these smaller paintings will fast forward you on your painting journey. Landscapes, still lifes, figure and animal paintings...learn them the easy way by working smaller. Steve will demonstrate and work with you.
Supplies you'll need:
Oil or Acrylic Paints - This is a list of the colors I commonly use in oils: titaniium white, cad. yellow light / hanza yellow, cad. yellow, yellow ochre, cad. orange, cad. red light / napthol red, alizarin crimson, ultramarine blue
cerulean blue / cobalt blue / pthalo blue, sap green, burnt sienna, burnt umber.
Palette, Thinner, Medium (Oil), Water, Medium (Acrylic)
Cups/Cans for thinners, Brushes, Bristle No 1, 2 round, No 1, 4, 6, 8 flat, Sable No 1, 0 round, 1/4" flat, Paper towels, rags, Canvas, canvas boards or painting panels - 4 x 6, 5 x 7, 6 x 8, Photographic refernces
