Instructor: Bob Rankin Class Code: BR1201 Workshop Fee: $550 Monday - Friday, July 23 - 27, 2012 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day Learn how to paint an abstract painting by abstracting representational images. This workshop is open to artists of all levels. Emphasis will be placed on developing an individual's own style of abstraction. Understanding the importance of color and design theories will add new and exciting possibilities for each student. Constructive individual critiques will be offered on a daily basis. Supplies you'll need: An assortment of acrylic brushes, palette knives, palette, assorted canvas, paper and acrylic paints: Matisse Structure Acrylics in the following colors: Titanium White, Mars Black, Southern Ocean Blue, Magenta, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red Light, Ultramarine Blue, Raw Sienna and any other personal choices. |
